This month Google will be rolling out changes that are likely to impact your website’s ranking. From April 21, Google will be favouring websites that are mobile-friendly.

To quote Google directly:

Starting April 21, we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results. Consequently, users will find it easier to get relevant, high quality search results that are optimized for their devices.

A “mobile-responsive website” is created for easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling, across a wide range of devices, from large desktop computer screens to the small screens on mobile phones.

With a continuing increase in people browsing the internet using their mobile phones, we believe an upgrade to a mobile-responsive website is imperative to provide your customers the best experience possible, and give you a better chance of improving your Google results.
